- References from engineering managers or tech leads
How we assess developers
The assessment is a short, realistic task drawn from everyday product work. Afterwards we ask the candidate to explain their choices, how they would test the code and what they would change with more time.
For senior candidates we add a system design discussion based on the kind of product you run.
UAE-based developers
Some teams want developers in the office, especially for product leadership or close work with business stakeholders. Developers in the UAE tech hubs move often, so we keep the process short and move quickly once you have a preferred candidate.
Remote developers in South Africa and the Philippines
Development is one of the most common remote roles. South African developers work two hours behind UAE time, so they join your stand-ups and reviews in real time. Filipino developers are four hours ahead and can cover work that should be ready when your team logs in.
