Remote staff from the Philippines for UAE companies

Filipino professionals already know Gulf business well, and many have spent years supporting overseas clients. We recruit full-time remote staff in the Philippines who work for your UAE company alone.

Why UAE employers hire in the Philippines

The Philippines has one of the largest outsourcing workforces in the world, built on strong spoken and written English. Many candidates have handled customers in the Gulf, the US or Australia, and are used to working to another country's clock.

There is also a cultural fit. The UAE has a large Filipino community, so many candidates have family or former colleagues there and already understand how UAE businesses operate.

Working a UAE day from Manila

The Philippines is four hours ahead of the UAE. A 9am to 6pm UAE day runs from 1pm to 10pm in Manila, a shift pattern that is normal in the Philippine outsourcing industry.

Employers who need longer coverage can use the gap: a support agent who starts at 9am Manila time is already working at 5am in Dubai, clearing overnight emails and chats before the UAE team logs in.

Roles we fill from the Philippines

We recruit for roles where the work is done in systems and on calls, and where clear communication matters as much as technical skill.

  • Customer service agents for phone, chat, email and WhatsApp
  • Administrative and virtual assistants
  • Bookkeepers and accounts staff, including Filipino CPAs
  • Graphic designers and social media support
  • IT support and helpdesk staff
  • Medical billing, coding and insurance claims staff

Screening Filipino candidates

Every candidate completes a role-specific skills test, an English assessment and a video interview with a Rotana consultant. For customer service roles we also run a mock call or chat using a scenario from your business.

We check that each candidate has a dedicated workspace, a fast internet connection and a backup option such as mobile data or a second provider, since power and connection problems are the most common cause of lost hours.

Questions employers ask

Will Filipino remote staff work UAE public holidays?

You agree the holiday calendar at the offer stage. Most employers follow either the UAE calendar or the Philippine one, and some agree a mix.

What happens if there is a power cut or internet outage?

We screen for backup connections before shortlisting anyone. Agree a simple protocol at the start, such as switching to mobile data and messaging the manager, so an outage costs minutes and not a shift.

Can Filipino staff speak Arabic?

Few do, so for Arabic-speaking customers we would usually suggest a UAE-based hire. Filipino staff are a strong fit for English-language support and back-office work.

Can we hire a whole team from the Philippines?

Yes. Many employers start with one person and add more once the first hire is settled, which also gives you a team lead from within.
