Roles we recruit for UAE employers

These are the roles UAE employers bring to us most often, each with its own screening and its own idea of a strong shortlist. Some have to be filled by someone in the UAE, and others work well as full-time remote staff in the Philippines or South Africa.

Common roles we fill for UAE employers

Each role page below sets out what we look for, the checks we run and the details worth giving us at the brief call. A nurse search and a sales search share very little beyond the shortlist format, so we treat them separately.

Roles marked as UAE-based need someone on site, such as clinical nursing, site engineering, front desk work and field sales. The rest can be hired locally or as remote staff working your hours from the Philippines or South Africa.

  • UAE-based roles: sales executives, civil engineers, receptionists, nurses
  • Local or remote: accountants, office administrators, customer service agents, software developers
  • Local or remote: HR officers, marketing executives, procurement officers, executive assistants

Deciding between a local hire and remote staff

Start with the work itself. If the job needs a body in the office, at the site or in front of customers, it is a local hire, and your company sponsors the work permit and residence visa through MOHRE or its free zone. If most of the work happens in systems, inboxes and calls, a remote hire is worth considering.

Time zones matter here. South Africa is 2 hours behind UAE time, so a normal South African day overlaps almost entirely with yours, while the Philippines is 4 hours ahead and suits an afternoon or evening shift there. Many employers split a function, keeping one person in the UAE and adding remote support behind them.

Questions employers ask

Do you recruit for roles that are not listed here?

Yes. The list covers the roles we see most often, and we take briefs for other professional and support roles across the UAE. Tell us about the job through the enquiry form and a consultant will say plainly whether it is a good fit for us.

Can remote staff from the Philippines or South Africa work UAE hours?

Yes. Remote staff work full time for one employer on that employer's working hours. South African staff overlap almost fully with a UAE day, and Filipino staff work it as an afternoon or evening shift.
